Quai 54, the only streetball tournament in the world sponsored by Jordan Brand, arguably exceeded those expectations when they hauled in five of the best dunkers in the world – Rafal ‘Lipek’ Lipinski, Chris Staples, Porter Mayberry, Justin Darlington and Guy Dupuy – to go at it in front of judges Scottie Pippen, Tyga, Carmelo Anthony and Quai 54 founder, Hammadoun Sidibe.
All five of them threw down dunks that would be straight 50s in an NBA contest, and to be quite frank, the entire contest put the NBA dunk contest to shame.
They blew the judges away, with Lipek’s best dunk, a pump reverse over dunking legend Kadour Ziani standing on a chair, getting them on their feed, with Carmelo making his numbers represent 100, feeling 10 wasn’t enough.
